presenters - Ben Waddams
I have always had a passion for the wildlife of this planet. Trying to film and present natural history programs is not of course simply a case of turning up and hoping to spot something. One must research the subjects in depth, get to know experts in their fields, travel far and wide in search of magical locations and spend time finding the creatures you wish to photograph. Every step of the wildlife program-maker's journey appeals to me and this is why I make nature films. I have been lucky enough to have lived and traveled through some truly mesmerising areas of the world and although this is where I take some of my inspiration from in terms of my writing and fine art, living and filming wildlife in Shropshire is just as exciting. I hope that through my films with County Channel, that enthusiasm and excitement for the natural world which I experience, in turn rubs off on you.
